Any suggestions for a book to give candidates for baptism, to help their understanding of baptism and, perhaps, as well, church membership?

tools that I heartily recommend.
Bill James, BAPTISM AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP--a
booklet showing that baptism is more than being
baptized and more than an individual act--it has a
relation to the body of Christ and identifying with it.
Robert Spinney, WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BAPTISM ?
This is a very helpful booklet for middle school age
on up through adulthood.
I think you will find both these booklets very helpful.
