This commentary series, based on the UBS Greek New Testament, provides thorough exegesis of the text that is sensitive to theological themes as well as to the details of the historical, linguistic, and textual context. Each volume contains detailed verse-by-verse commentary preceded by general comments on each section and subsection of the text. While interacting with significant modern New Testament research, the NIGTC authors also keep in mind the needs of beginning Greek students and of pastors or laypersons not presently engaged in the study of Greek.
