As the Travillas winter at Viamede, Elsie’s birthplace, Lily, the newest member of the family is born, but it is later realized that she is very frail. Soon after they return to Ion, they are faced with a life- threatening injury to an elder Dinsmore, and later yet, must trust the loving Savior completely with the precious life of their youngest one.
