Part of the Geneva Series, this
commentary comes from the reformed-
Calvinist tradition. It is meant to be
used by preachers and scholars alike.
The commentary takes the book of Acts
verse by verse, using the original
Greek to bring out as much of the
meaning of the text as possible. The
author also brings knowledge of the
ancient Biblical world into this
understanding. J.A. Alexander, an
excellent linguist and scholar, wrote
the commentary in 1857.
