To live well in this world, we need more than to just try harder. If we want lives that are marked by love, joy and peace, if we want to see goodness planted in the soil of our marriages and families, we need something we can’t actually drum up from inside ourselves, however hard we try or how disciplined we become. You have the resources you need at your disposal to live a life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self–control. God has gifted this to you through His Son, so look to him to grow and develop them in you, don’t think they can be found anywhere else.
