Editors Philip Johnston and Peter Walker, both of whom have keen interest and particular insight on issues of land, justice, racial identity and biblical interpretation, have here assembled the perspectives of a wide range of scholars in Europe, the United States, Africa and the Middle East. Though representing different theological perspectives, these contributors share an evangelical desire to understand Scripture and its application to today. They include: Paul Williamson, Desmond Alexander, Deryck Sheriffs, Palmer Robertson, Stephen Sizer, Colin Chapman, Baruch Maoz, Naim Ateek, Carl Armerding and Gordon Thomas. The Land of Promise will help Christians better understand both the biblical dimensions and the contemporary relevance of God's promise to Abraham.
